Combi Clamp is a New Zealand-owned agricultural engineering business specialising in innovative sheep and cattle handling systems designed to improve livestock flow, operator safety, and on-farm efficiency. Founded by Wayne and Lynley Coffey, the business has grown from practical farming roots into a successful export-focused manufacturing company servicing customers throughout New Zealand, Australia, and international markets.
As the business expanded, Combi Clamp needed a stronger digital presence to better showcase its product innovation, strengthen customer trust, and support growth across multiple markets. The existing marketing approach lacked the visual storytelling and digital infrastructure required to effectively communicate the practical benefits of the products to farmers and rural buyers.
There was also a clear opportunity to position the brand more professionally against competitors while improving customer engagement through modern digital channels.
Quest began with a strategic marketing review focused on identifying growth opportunities, customer behaviours, and ways to better communicate the Combi Clamp story to rural audiences.
From there, we developed a mobile-friendly website featuring a product catalogue designed to improve usability, enquiry generation, and product visibility across domestic and export markets. Alongside the website redevelopment, Quest produced high-engagement video content and authentic photography to better showcase the people, products, and practical farming applications behind the brand.
The content strategy focused heavily on authentic storytelling and demonstrating real-world product value – helping farmers clearly understand how the systems improved livestock handling, efficiency, safety, and day-to-day farm operations.
Following the digital redevelopment and content rollout, Combi Clamp experienced strong commercial growth, with the business reporting approximately 50% revenue growth following the launch of the new website and marketing assets. The refreshed digital presence and storytelling strategy helped strengthen customer engagement, improve product visibility, and support increased market reach across New Zealand and offshore markets.
The project also helped position Combi Clamp as an innovative and trusted New Zealand manufacturer within the rural sector, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for practical on-farm solutions and continued product innovation.
The Combi Clamp project demonstrates the power of combining strategic positioning with authentic rural storytelling and connected digital delivery. Through a long-term partnership approach, Quest helped transform practical engineering innovation into a compelling brand story that resonated strongly with farming audiences – supporting substantial business growth both in New Zealand and internationally.
