Kia Ora Hauora is a Māori Health workforce development programme aimed at students and current health sector workers to promote health careers. The programme has been developed in response to the national and international shortage of health sector workers and the demand for more māori health professionals.
Quest was contracted by Wellington-based Capital and Coast District Health Board to produce a series of videos for Kia Ora Hauroa. The video content is a resource for secondary school education targeting years 11-13. The Central Region stretches from Hawke’s Bay in the North to Wellington in the South and includes a variety of geographically different areas and a diverse population. Six district health boards provide healthcare and workforce programmes across the area.
“I met Quest through the work that they were doing for the Hawke’s Bay DHB and thought they would be a great match. Quest were great to work with and really easy to access with great communication. I would highly recommend Quest for anyone wanting to produce video. The outcome was way beyond what I expected. I’m very happy with the result and so are my stakeholders” Leigh Andrews, Central Region Co-ordinator, Kia Ora Hauora Maori Health Work Force Programme
