The Challenge

Quest was approached to help reposition FarmRight. The company has enjoyed a successful partnership with the NZ Super Fund since 2010. It’s been a remarkable success story with a portfolio exceeding $1 billion. The need was clear: improved branding and communications to connect with investment opportunities with institutional investors globally. FarmRight manages large-scale agribusiness assets across farms, orchards, and vineyards New Zealand wide.

Quest focused on what already underpinned the business:

  • Sustainable long-term thinking
  • Operational performance
  • Strong relationships with land and people

From there, we clarified the positioning and built a brand system to communicate it consistently.

The design direction was deliberately simple:

  • Clean, confident typography
  • Environmentally sustainable colour palette
  • Real, on-farm storytelling – copy, photography, video, design, infographics
  • Structured layouts to simplify complex information

Applied across investor materials, presentations and digital touchpoints.

  • Clearer communication of operations and opportunities
  • Stronger appeal to institutional investors
  • Consistent brand across all channels

The key takeaway was that the business didn’t need changing. The way it was expressed did.
